Bus transportation for seniors
Senior citizens in need of a ride may call the Hazel Crest PACE Dial-A-Ride service at 335-9600, Ext. 118. The Village PACE bus includes a wheelchair lift to transport seniors and residents with disabilities. Seniors 60 years of age and older are eligible for the bus service. There is no age limit for residents with disabilities.
The bus will take seniors to and from the Village Hall (Senior Room) , to medical appointments, grocery stores, and many other destinations. Each ride costs $2. [Rides to the Village Hall (Senior Room ) are free.]

Advanced reservations are required. The cut-off time to make a ride request is noon, the previous day. EXAMPLE: FRIDAY RIDE REQUESTS ARE DUE THURSDAY BY NOON. *Noon Friday is deadline for Monday.

Seniors leaving a phone message to reserve bus service are asked to state their destination for scheduling purposes.
Riders must purchase a 10-ride bus ticket at the Village Hall in order to ride the bus. There is no limit to the number of destinations in a day as long as the schedule permits.
The earliest pick-up is at 8:30 a.m., the latest pickup from a rider’s home is at 3:00 p.m. The last return trip is dropped off no later than 4:45 p.m. Passengers who are unable to board or leave the bus unassisted must have a caregiver accompany them. Caregivers also pay $2 per ride. A caregiver must be 18 years or older to assist a passenger. Persons younger than the age of 18 are not allowed on the PACE Bus unless they are a rider who has a disability.

- Bid Whist is every Monday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Senior Center.
- Bingo is every Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the West Meeting Room.
- Keno is on Thursdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Senior Center.
- Senior Monthly Social Gathering take place on the first Friday of every month at 11:00 a.m., in the Senior Room.
