The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus is hosting Municipal Ideas Exchanges regarding the 2020 Census to help municipalities prepare for the 2020 Census.  One of the exchanges is Monday, December 9th, from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Prairie State College – Conference Center (202 S Halsted, Chicago Heights).  For more information, click here.

The last day of the season for composting is THIS Saturday, December 7th.  From 10:00am until 4:00pm, residents with a valid village vehicle sticker may bring grass clippings, leaves and shrub trimmings to the Composting Facility (at 2600 W. 170th Place) near corner of California Avenue and Kaindl Street.

Stickers must be displayed on your car windshield by January 31, 2019 to avoid a penalty.  Purchase at the front desk of the Village Hall.  To see prices & rules, click here.
