The South Suburban Chicago Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, invites high school students to participate in the Young Master Writers Program. Eligibility: High School Students (Grades 9-12). Contestants may submit original, previously unpublished works on subjects of their choice. All submissions must be in PDF format. Word or other text documents will not be reviewed. Deadline to submit is 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Contestants may submit original works of one or more of the following: Poetry: A Complete Poetry Submission includes a collection of exactly three (3) poems. The three poems must be in a single document (PDF). Prose-Essays: Three single pages maximum (No research papers please); pdf; maximum word count: 750. Prose-Short Stories: Five pages; pdf; maximum word count: 1,000.
